EE, the carrier formerly known as Everything Everywhere, has snared exclusive rights to sell the titanium grey edition of the Samsung Galaxy S3 in the UK.
According to The Inquirer, the limited-edition colour option is slated to be among the first handsets to support the super-fast speeds that EE’s 4G network will provide.
Pricing and a release date for the smartie, which dropped in its original colour options of pebble blue and marble white way back in May, are as yet unconfirmed.
Announced today in London and due to go live in London, Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff in a matter weeks, the 4G network will be the first to launch in the UK. This will be extended to 16 cities by Christmas.
Maximum speeds for handsets equipped with the 4G technology are some six times faster than the top connection speeds that 3G is capable of.
