Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy F has yet again made a starring appearance on the @evleaks Twitter account. This time, the new device is seen in an official–looking shot, with the well connected tipster claiming the handset will be out this year.
The metal-clad phone is widely seen as the premium successor to Samsung’s plastic Galaxy S5. Word is that it’ll land in September at the same time as the Korean firm’s much–talked–about Galaxy Note 4.
Few of the Galaxy F’s specs are confirmed, but it's likely to use an improved qHD screen and come with Google services front and centre after the Android–maker and Samsung agreed earlier this year to collaborate more closely.
Samsung is likely to face extremely stiff competition from Apple if it does choose to launch the Galaxy F in September. The Cupertino company is due to reveal two new iPhone models in the same month.
