Customers who pre–order Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 8 from Carphone Warehouse can lay their hands on a free Samsung DeX docking station, which turns the Korean company’s latest smartphone into a desktop PC.
The DeX docking station is worth £139 and hooks up to a monitor and keyboard meaning you can ditch your PC for good and go fully mobile.
Carphone Warehouse says anyone who pre–orders the Galaxy Note 8 from them, either SIM–free or on a pay monthly contract, can take advantage of the deal.
Those who do will be need to register their phone’s details, including the IMEI number, with Samsung, between 30 and 60 days after purchase. They’ll then receive email and text confirmation and get their DeX in the post within 30 days.
Carphone Warehouse has the Galaxy Note 8 available on 22 different plans from the likes of O2, EE, Vodafone and its own iD network. Its cheapest available deal comes in at £56 per month, with a £29.99 up front cost on O2, with unlimited calls and texts, plus 10GB data.
