Caitlyn Jenner will make an appearance in the third series of Amazon comedy-drama 'Transparent'.
The show follows father Mort Pfefferman (Jeffrey Tambor) as he deals with the fallout of coming out as a transgender woman called Maura.
Caitlyn Jenner previously went by the name Bruce Jenner. Last year, she announced her identity as a trans woman and that she was changing her name to Caitlyn.
Showrunner Jill Soloway announced that Jenner would join the show at the GLAAD Media Awards. She said that the casting was "a dream come true".
She said last summer that she wanted Jenner to appear, but said she wasn't sure if she'd want to.
However, she said that the two had plenty of mutual acquaintances and friends, which helped seal the deal.
"We are all part of the same community," Soloway said. "A lot of the trans women who work on our show are also in her show, 'I Am Cait'. Lots of crossover. Lots of friends."
Jenner will start filming for the third series of 'Transparent' next week. There's no word on when it will be available on Amazon Prime Video.
