ripper street series four

The fifth and final series of Victorian crime drama 'Ripper Street' is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Every episode of the series is now available, so you can binge watch yourself silly.

The series was axed by the BBC after two series, when Amazon stepped in and commissioned a third. However, this will be the final series, creator Richard Warlow has confirmed, as he wanted to end the drama on his own terms.

The final series makes up one single story. It sees our heroes become fugitives, "forced to operate outside the law as they pursue the most insidious enemy they have encountered yet," according to the blurb from Amazon.

If you don't have Amazon, you can still catch all the action, though you'll be in for a wait. The fifth series is expected to air on BBC 2 next year sometime. So good luck avoiding spoilers.

The third series of 'Ripper Street' broke records for Amazon when it was released in 2014. Though now – like many victims in the series – the show has met its maker.
