Hard man Ross Kemp will return to Sky 1 for a sixth series of 'Ross Kemp: Extreme World'.
The BAFTA-winning presenter will host the new series next year. It will also be available to view on Now TV, Sky's contract-free streaming service.
The series sees Kemp tackle subjects like migrant smuggling, the deadly consequences of the war on drugs and the rise of violent extremism. He will travel to Libya, the USA and the UK.
Celia Taylor, head of non-scripted commissioning for Sky 1, was pleased the series will return. "'Extreme World' has been a huge success for us, giving our audiences an insight into the dramatic human stories behind the headlines at home and overseas. We are delighted that Ross is returning to the channel as we know our viewers value and enjoy his brave and gripping reporting."
Tom Sheahan, executive producer of production company Freshwater Films, added: "We're thrilled to have the green light for series six of 'Extreme World'. Tackling these important and gritty subjects can be challenging but we have an incredibly talented team who are committed to getting the access and telling the stories that Ross has become known for."
