One of the leading broadband comparison sites ‘Compare-UK-Broadband’ has rebranded to Broadband Finder, so we thought we would take this moment to take a look at some of the broadband comparison sites currently on the market. One of the major players is uSwitch, who have discovered lots of new information on broadband statistics, uSwitch are regularly in the press and are owned by American company Scripps. uSwitch offer variety of comparisons including; gas and electricity, heating cover, water, mobile phones, broadband, loans, current accounts and more.

Moneysupermarket, similar to uSwitch focuses in lots of topics as well as broadband and is a well known brand. Launched in December 1999 it aims to provide a money comparison on personal finance and services in the market.

Broadband Checker is one of the original broadband comparison sites which allows you to see ADSL and cable availability in your area. While widely copied, the original site is still one of the very best for comparing broadband by postcode.

Broadband-Finder (previously compare-broadband-uk) has been one of the longest running broadband comparison sites, focussed entirely on broadband, it allows a search on providers and helps with switching providers, and includes guides for help.

UK Offer is a comparison site with a massive interest in broadband – alongside Broadband Finders, it has in fact been one of the comparison leaders for much of the last two years.

Broadbandgenie is another popular site that again focuses in broadband, it provides comparisons and information as well as news page and an impressive blog section.

Some other major sites in the comparison arena include Broadband Choices, Simply Switch, Firsthelpline, GoBroadband247, Broadband Choices, Broadband Expert, the now defunct Find One broadband (our original site!) and others, all providing similar services, but hopefully you’ll agree that Top10-Broadband is one of the best and continue to use our site and check our news.
