Junior broadband provider Be Broadband has joined forces with Top 10 Broadband for an exclusive cut-price deal.

Under the terms of the offer, customers who sign up for any of Be’s home broadband deals will pay nothing for the first three months of their contract. To qualify for the incentive, potential customers must enter a promotional code which is available on the Be page of Top 10 Broadband and then buy the deal through the site.

The offer applies to all Be packages, which are dubbed Be Value, Be Unlimited and Be Pro and are available on 12-month contracts. After the initial three month period expires, Be Value customers pay £13.50 per month, while Be Unlimited and Be Pro subscribers pay £17.50 and £21.50 per month respectively.

Consumers who sign up for the Be Value plan can expect a broadband connection speed of up to 8Mb, which is more than double the UK average of 3.6Mb. Meanwhile, Be Pro and Be Unlimited customers benefit from a connection speed of up to 24Mb. All Be’s broadband packages come with a wireless modem, allowing users get online from anywhere in their homes and with multiple computers.

The money-saving offer from Be is the latest in a long line of headline-grabbing initiatives from the internet service provider. Previous incentives have seen the company target the gaming broadband market with free gifts, such as vouchers to spend in high street retailer Game. Meanwhile, at the Gadget Show Live, which is taking place in Birmingham this week, the company is giving away £5,000 worth of prizes, including a cutting-edge Alienware gaming laptop and several 12 month Be Pro connections.

Gamers have already taken to Be’s broadband services in significant numbers. This is principally because they offer users reduced ‘ping’, thus enhancing the experience of playing games online.

Be’s success in the competitive UK broadband market has also been assisted by its impressive customer service. The company offers all consumers who sign up for its broadband packages free 24/7 technical support.
