Existing subscribers to Orange's Business Everywhere mobile broadband deal will receive a 50 per cent discount from this month.

Until July 31st, current SME voice customers who take out a new plan will be handed the cut price deal, taking the cost of their broadband connection to £7.50 per month.

New subscribers during this period will be given a £5 discount on their monthly bill.

In addition, the broadband provider has unveiled three new devices which allow business customers to send data up to four times faster than present 3G+ technology.

Paul Tollet, Vice President of Business for Orange UK, commented: "Mobile broadband has really taken off across all industries and business sizes.

"A key drive for customers adopting mobile broadband has been the growing desire to stay in control and stay on top of business opportunities."

He added that the group's new devices would be of benefit to those who need to access high-speed internet while on the move.

Orange's parent company France Telecom last month disclosed that it recorded an increase of 8.7 per cent in ADSL broadband subscribers during the first quarter of this year.
