Be Broadband has reaffirmed its commitment to providing service excellence in the fixed broadband marketplace.
The internet service provider, which recently conducted a study into the popularity of mobile broadband, said its customers were keen to see it retain focus on its primary area of expertise.
According to the firm, many consumers believe dongle-based broadband is the future, but concerns over its cost and usage limits means fixed web services remain the best option at present.
A Be Broadband spokesperson said subscribers were keen to see its line bonding product fully rolled out, providing the best possible internet access in the short term.
"We're not going to launch a Be branded mobile broadband solution," he stated.
"It isn't really our thing (yet) and we don't think we could do it justice while maintaining our focus on broadband."
Last month saw Be Broadband appoint a new Managing Director, with Tom Williams stepping up to replace Felix Geyr at the firm, which is owned by O2.
