Global computing giant Apple has confirmed its iPad tablet device, which will be available on a range of broadband deals, is being launched in the UK on May 28th.
The launch of the system on these shores was originally delayed due to higher than anticipated levels of demand in the US, but a concrete release date has now finally been confirmed.
Apple has revealed that the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB Wi-Fi models will be available at the suggested retail prices of £429, £499 and £599 respectively.
In contrast the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB Wi-Fi + 3G versions will sell at £529, £599 and £699.
Broadband providers including Vodafone, Orange and O2 have confirmed they will be offering the iPad bundled with mobile broadband deals from later this month.
However, none of the companies have yet revealed the price plans they will make the tablet devices available for.
