Broadband provider TalkTalk has added a new series of advice videos to YouTube to help subscribers with a range of technical issues.

The company has revealed that the new clips cover a number of tasks, from setting up online billing to creating an email address linked to the broadband provider.

In a blog posting, Mark Schmid, Communications Director of TalkTalk, said the launch of the videos came after research revealed some of the areas that consumers complain about.

He added that the next few videos will consider concepts including improving the speed and reliability of connections.

"This is just the first series of videos and it will be followed in due course by others," he explained.

Originally established in 2003, TalkTalk is now of the biggest home broadband providers in the UK with over four million phone and internet customers with connections through its portfolio of brands.

Its unbundled network currently extends to around 80 per cent of the population.
