Plusnet home broadband deals currently offer three months free, as part of an eye-catching, limited period incentive.

Under the terms of the offer, all customers who take Plusnet’s entry level Value, Extra or Pro broadband packages for 12 months will benefit from the introductory charge-free period during the first three months of their contract term.

Total annual savings for Value, Extra and Pro standalone broadband customers are £19.47, £33.47 and £49.47 respectively in areas designated as low cost by Plusnet.

The Value package, which was named the UK’s Best Value Home Broadband package at the 2009 Top10.com Broadband Awards, offers a connection speed of up to 8Mb and a monthly download limit of 10Gb.

Aimed at heavier web users, such as consumers who download content extensively, Plusnet’s Extra offering entitles takers to a 20Mb connection and a massive 60Gb of usage per month.

The Pro option, meanwhile, features the same super fast up to 20Mb connection as the Extra package and a 20Gb usage limit. However, it differs from Extra in that gaming traffic is prioritised. This means that online gaming enthusiasts will encounter minimal levels of ‘ping’ – the slowdown to connections and in-game reaction times that impairs the experience of playing games online.

All three product options include a free wireless router worth £40 and 24/7 customer support from Plusnet’s team of tech experts.

The three-month introductory period also applies when customers choose to add a Plusnet Talk home phone plan. These offer the chance to benefit from free evening and weekend calls or free calls at any time to UK and international landline numbers.

Those who do choose to take a home phone option alongside home broadband will only be liable to pay for their broadband and landline rental this during the introductory period.

To qualify for the incentive, consumers must sign up online before August 31st 2010 and cite the promotional code ‘treat 3’.

Alongside this promotion, Plusnet is also offering savings for business broadband customers, with three months at half-price available across its enterprise focussed products.

Plusnet is consistently highly rated in consumer surveys and scooped nine of 11 awards in the recent Uswitch.com poll.
