Consumers now have just two weeks left to take advantage of TalkTalk's attractive six months free broadband deal.

For the last month, the internet service provider (ISP) has been offering half a year's free service on its TalkTalk Essentials broadband and home phone deal.

However, the promotion is being withdrawn on September 30th, meaning interested consumers must get in touch with the firm soon.

The offer applies to consumers signing up for Essentials on an 18-month contract, enabling them to save £6.99 per month for the first two-quarters.

Subscribers are only required to pay line rental of £11.49 per month during this introductory period, allowing them to save £40.

TalkTalk Essentials offers download speeds of up to 24Mb, a 40GB usage allowance, a free wireless 'G' router and access to customer and technical support.

Free evening and weekend calls to all UK landlines are also included with the broadband bundle.
