Sky has sweetened the appeal of its combined broadband, home and TV bundles with the launch of a new on-demand service, allowing subscribers to watch an extensive library of entertainment on demand at no extra charge.
Launched this week, the Anytime+ roster of programming includes 600 movies as well as entire runs of popular series from the likes of Sopranos and Sex and The City maker HBO. Users will also be able to access programming from Sky Sports, Sky Arts and Sky 1.
The service is available to all Sky customers with a Sky+ subscription, Sky+HD box and broadband connection provided by the broadcaster in a Sky network area.
Among the new product bundles including the Anytime+ service is an attractive package that teams the company’s Unlimited Broadband and Talk with a Sky+ box for £29.75 per month.
This offers subscribers a broadband connection of up to 20Mb, free evening and weekend calls to UK landlines, one Sky Entertainment Pack and one HD Pack. A free £50 Marks & Spencer voucher is also provided, as is free standard set-up.
An alternative is a package priced £51 per month. As with the £29.75 per month option, this includes a connection of up to 20Mb, free evening and weekend calls, a free £50 Marks & Spencer voucher, plus free set up, a Ffee Sky+ HD box and an HD Pack. However, subscribers to this offer get two Entertainment Packs and a Sports Pack, offering them even more entertainment options.
