Mobile broadband provider 3 has announced plans to offer additional purchase options for consumers seeking an Apple iPad.

The internet service provider (ISP), which offers web access to table users, will offer "more affordable prices" to consumers taking out a data service plan.

This will apply to the Wi-Fi + 3G iPad models over the coming months, 3 stated.

According to the ISP: "The iPad allows users to connect with their apps and content in a more intimate, intuitive and fun way than ever before.

"Users can browse the web, read and send email, enjoy and share photos, watch HD videos, listen to music, play games, read e-books and much more, all using iPad's revolutionary Multi-Touch user interface."

Launched in the UK in May 2010, the Apple iPad has proved extremely popular with consumers, including those seeking internet access on the move.

3 customers can currently subscribe for 1GB of data for £7.50 per month, 10GB for £15 per month, or gain iPad web services on a pay-as-you-go basis.
