Consumers signing up for a Sky broadband bundle before Christmas will be able to tune in to a number of movie TV premieres, the firm has announced.

In a full-page Metro advert, Sky drew attention to its current TV, home phone and broadband bundles, and the potential for households to bolt on Sky Movies HD at a discount rate.

Subscribers signing up to the broadcaster's premium film channels can receive an entire entertainment pack – including HD movies, Sky TV, calls and 20Mb broadband – for just £37.75 per month.

And for those who take advantage of this promotion, silver screen blockbusters including Avatar, Alice and Wonderland and Fantastic Mr Fox will be showing for the first time over the festive period.

With the broadband deal also including free installation and a free Sky+HD box, consumers can not only watch these Oscar-winning features, but record and store them for future viewing.

"There's nothing quite like settling down to watch a movie with the family this Christmas, especially after the chaos of shopping and entertaining" Sky stated.

"With Sky you can enjoy the latest movies – all in sparkling high definition. It's the perfect movie experience."
