TalkTalk's new mobile broadband deals will not only offer "incredible value" to customers, but also a high degree of flexibility, it has been claimed.

Tristia Clarke, Commercial Director at the internet service provider (ISP), believes consumers will benefit in a number of ways from its decision to offer dongle services.

Earlier this week, the ISP announced that customers will be able to sign up for mobile broadband on rolling one-month contracts, at a price of £10 for 1GB of data.

Writing in the TalkTalk blog, Ms Clarke said that customers will have the freedom to use the service without feeling tied down to a long-term deal.

"Millions of people already receive our fixed line phone and broadband services, so the obvious next step for us was to offer mobile packages and allow our customers to use a TalkTalk dongle on the go," she added.

"We’re looking forward to giving our loyal customer base the freedom to use TalkTalk when, where and how they want."

TalkTalk's mobile broadband deals will be supported by Vodafone's 3G network under an agreement reached by the two ISPs.
