Internet service provider TalkTalk is searching for volunteers to test its latest online security offering ahead of the full product launch.

According to the firm's Martin Bartlett, the TalkTalk Network Security Trial will help to test the latest network-based security offering being developed for customers.

He said the firm is looking for 150 TalkTalk customers to take part in the initiative, which is geared at generating feedback on the service.

"You will need to already have a 'My Account' login or being willing to sign up for 'My Account' (which is free) to be a part of the trial," Mr Bartlett explained.

"The aim of the trial is simply to test the new service works for customers in a logical and easy-to-understand way, and provides a good overall experience."

He noted that prizes for premium feedback and participation on the trial include an iPod Touch and Amazon vouchers.

Earlier this month, TalkTalk invited its consumers to participate in a firmware trial for the new Huawei HG532 4 Port broadband router.
