Latest reports suggest iPad 2 broadband deals could become available to UK users as early as March 2011.
According to Macotakara, a Japanese blog which has previously leaked details about Apple's tablet plans, the second-generation iPad could be previewed as early as this week.
It also claimed that manufacturing production schedules point towards a full launch for the iPad 2 – and the broadband deals which come with it – next month.
Should this information be verified by Apple this week, manufacturers will have just a number of weeks to prepare shipments for what promises to be a hugely popular mobile device.
Millions of iPads have been sold since the product was released in April 2010, with consumers keen to take advantage of its broadband deals to access the internet on the go.
All existing iPad models come with in-built Wi-Fi technology, enabling users to connect to the internet at wireless broadband hotspots.
In addition, consumers also have the option of selecting a Wi-Fi + 3G option, allowing them to use mobile broadband.
