Internet service provider (ISP) TalkTalk has boldly claimed to offer faster broadband than many of its main industry rivals.
Writing in the company blog, Chief Executive Officer Dido Harding drew attention to the latest Ofcom broadband speed report, which offered insight into the downloading capabilities of UK households.
She explained that the report reflected well upon TalkTalk's home broadband service, which was shown to deliver faster average speeds than BT, Plusnet and Sky.
Ms Harding said it was "great to be doing well" in the broadband speed charts, noting that faster broadband is "good news" for all internet users.
And as the debate over download speed advertising rumbles on, she added that TalkTalk is "particularly interested" in helping consumers understand the service they are receiving and how it can be improved.
Last week, the ISP launched its new Speed Checker, a tool Ms Harding has described as being "the most advanced in the industry".
