Plusnet news

Internet service provider (ISP) Plusnet has launched a new broadband deal offering a £30 gift certificate to each new customer.

The broadband offer applies to any new customer subscribing to one of the firm's three home broadband packages over the internet.

Customers will receive their voucher via email 30 days after the activation of their broadband service, enabling them to make significant savings at the online shopping store.

Households looking to take advantage of the offer need to decide which broadband package appeals to them most - Plusnet Value, Plusnet Extra or Plusnet Fibre.

Plusnet Value – the ISP's entry-level package – offers consumers up to 20Mb download speeds, a 10GB monthly usage allowance, free evening and weekend calls and 24/7 customer service.

The broadband deal costs £6.49 per month, with a free wireless broadband router included.

Customers seeking unlimited home phone calls can pay £3.50 per month for an Anytime Calls boost.

Plusnet Extra broadband, which is priced at £11.49 per month, offers 20Mb broadband, a 60GB monthly usage allowance, evening and weekend calls and 24/7 customer service.

Subscribers are not tied to an annual contract on either of the ADSL broadband deals.

For households seeking fibre-optic broadband services, Plusnet Fibre packages are now available in connected areas from £16.49 per month.

The deals, which come with a free wireless broadband router worth £40, offer 40Mb download speeds and are available on an 18-month contract.

In order to take advantage of Plusnet Fibre, households require an active Plusnet or other BT-compatible landline, a compatible router, one microfilter per active phone socket and an internet-capable computer.
