Virgin Media has teamed up with THECUBE for a new Innovation Lab which will see members of the start-up incubator testing the broadband provider's products.

It is hoped that the collaboration, which marks the one year anniversary of Tech City, will "push superfast connectivity to its limits with new applications and services".

As part of the partnership, Virgin Media's marketing, technology, commercial and business teams hold seminars and workshops at THECUBE to help share their expertise.

“The start-up community has a lot to offer to British business and, with technology and innovation at its heart, our partnership with THECUBE gives us a fresh, informed and alternative point of view on how to take our products and services forward”, said Dale Barnes, Director of Advanced Technology and Innovation at Virgin Media.

Araceli Camargo, Founder, THECUBE, added that the broadband provider is providing new businesses with previously inaccessible technology.

THE CUBE is a collaborative workspace in the capital which aims to 'nourish' would-be entrepreneurs.
