UK consumers who sign up for Sky+ or Sky+ HD this autumn are able to take advantage of a healthy discount on Sky Movies.
The TV, home phone and broadband provider is offering a 50 per cent price reduction for six months for all new Sky Movies customers.
As a result, they are able to save £8 per month for half a year - adding up to £48 saved on their annual bill.
The deal is available for customers signing up for Sky+ or Sky+ HD services with any package up until December 21st 2012.
It is arguably the best time of the year to become a Sky Movies customer - with plenty of treats in store for viewers over the festive period.
Sky has promised to "make Christmas magical" with "fantastic blockbusters delivered straight to your TV".
The firm recently secured the rights to the entire Harry Potter film franchise - meaning Sky Movies is the only place to watch the Hogwarts wizards and witches in action this Christmas.
Among the films set to premiere on Sky Movies in December 2012 are Midnight in Paris, Alvin And The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, A Christmas Wedding Tail, Safe House, and Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol.
Other new titles include Hugo, Dark Horse, The Descendants, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan and Project X.
Sky says there are hundreds of films to choose from on its Movies channels, including up to five premieres a week.
"There's something for the whole family to enjoy, with everything from comedy and romance, to action and drama," the firm claims.
