TalkTalk has launched a new broadband deal exclusively available to people working in NHS trusts across the UK.

The broadband provider is offering fast, unlimited broadband with free evening and weekend calls for just £3.25 per month plus line rental.

Qualifying customers also receive 1,000 inclusive minutes of calls to mobiles every month for the first three months of their deal and £30 welcome credit.

A free wireless broadband router - 40 per cent faster than previous Essentials routers - is also included as part of the deal.

TalkTalk said it is "proud" to offer the NHS exclusive broadband deal.

"We want to support the people who support us, so we created a package that will appeal to busy NHS staff," said Kristine Olson, Director of Sales and Loyalty at TalkTalk.

"The offer is being made available through Your Choice, which delivers staff benefits packages for more than 500,000 NHS staff through staff newsletters, intranet websites and at a series of events being held at hospitals across the country."

She expressed hope that the deal will encourage more NHS workers to access the internet at home.
