Plusnet is continuing to offer a high level of customer support to its broadband customers, a leading commentator has claimed.

In his Editor's Pick article on, Mark Jackson said customer service is one of the Sheffield-based broadband provider's major strengths.

"Plusnet has won several separate awards for customer service and support this year," he explained.

Mr Jackson said this "is an impressive feat", particularly for one of the cheapest broadband providers in the UK.

"You can’t necessarily expect the best speeds or quality but they have built a good reputation for budget services," he added.

The Editor noted that Plusnet also launched a range of fibre-to-the-cabinet broadband deals last year, offering super-fast download speeds.

As a consequence, the firm's customers can now download at a rate of up to 76Mb.
