Virgin Media is inviting consumers to pass judgement on everything from film to TV, music and games for its annual awards.
The broadband provider is inviting votes across 20 entertainment categories for the Virgin Media Awards 2013, including 'Best Movie', 'TV Show Of The Year', 'Best Group' and 'Best Console Game'.
Virgin Media has published a shortlist of award nominees in each category - meaning it is now up to the public to vote.
In the 'Best Movie' category, Skyfall goes up against The Dark Knight Rises, Ted, The Hunger Games and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
Also nominated in this category are Avengers Assemble, Looper, Prometheus, Snow White & The Huntsman, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Cabin In The Woods and The Woman In Black.
Virgin Media has nominated 12 programmes in the 'TV Show Of The Year' category, including the likes of Doctor Who, Homeland, Sherlock, Downton Abbey and Geordie Shore.
Dynamo: Magician Impossible, The Walking Dead, Moone Boy, Fresh Meat, The Thick of It, This Is England '88 and The Great British Bake Off complete the shortlist.
Music artists across a range of styles and genres are represented in the 'Best Group' category.
Blur, The Stone Roses, Coldplay and Muse go up against JLS, Little Mix, Girls Aloud and One Direction, with The Wanted, The Maccabees, The Vaccines and Swedish House Mafia completing the shortlist.
In the 'Best Console Game' category, the nominees are Mass Effect 3, Borderlands 2, Forza Horizon, XCOM, Dishonored, FIFA 13, Max Payne 3, Need For Speed: Most Wanted, Halo 4, Far Cry 3, Call Of Duty: Black Ops II and Lego Batman 2.
Each of the 20 categories is set to be hotly contested, with some very worthy candidates for the respective awards
