Virgin Media is now offering even greater savings on its higher-tier TV, home phone and broadband bundles.

The service provider is offering a £20 per month discount to households signing up for its Premiere and VIP collections, applying over the first six months of an 18-month contract.

This gives consumers the opportunity to save £120 on their entertainment bills during the introductory contract period.

Consumers signing up for the Virgin Media Premiere Collection pay just £28 per month for the first six months of their contract, rising to £48 per month for the remainder of their deal.

A line rental fee of £14.99 per month also applies.

With the Premiere broadband bundle, households receive up to 60Mb download speeds, unlimited weekend calls to UK landlines and Virgin Media numbers, and a free Super Hub router.

In addition, TV viewers are able to watch over 175 channels - 24 of which are in HD - and take advantage of a 500GB TiVo Box plus Virgin TV Anywhere.

Subscribers also gain an extra HD box which can be used in a different room.

UK households can also save £20 per month for six months on the Virgin Media VIP Collection, which is currently discounted to £79 per month plus line rental.

Consumers can take advantage of up to 100Mb broadband, unlimited downloads, inclusive anytime phone calls, a free Super Hub and free installation.

In terms of TV, they have access to at least 205 channels, 37 of which are in HD. Sky Sports F1, Sky Movies HD, Sky Sports 1 HD and Sky Sports 2 HD subscriptions are all included.

Customers receive a 1TB TiVo box, Virgin TV Anywhere and an extra unit for a different room in the house.
