Sky has launched new broadband deals exclusively for customers in the Tyne and Wear region, which it hopes will boost the number of people signing up to the company's TV, home phone and broadband packages.
Customers in areas such as Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Sunderland and Gateshead can benefit from broadband, hundreds of TV channels and landline calls by taking advantage of the Sky Entertainment and Unlimited Broadband package, which starts at £15 a month.
As well as unlimited broadband, customers receive access to 40 entertainment channels such as Sky Atlantic and Sky 1, six free-to-air HD channels and 240 other free-to-air channels
People signing up receive a free Sky+ box and standard set-up, a Sky Hub, which is the company's best ever router, and access to other Sky perks such as Wi-Fi hotspots, Sky Go and On Demand content, ensuring people can watch whatever they want, whenever they want, wherever they want.
Customers also receive the Talk Weekends package, enabling UK calls of up to an hour to 01, 02, 03 & 0870 numbers, and a free £25 M&S voucher, just for signing up.
Alternatively, customers in the Tyne and Wear region can opt for the Sky Entertainment Extra and Fibre Broadband package, which offers the same benefits but an additional 52 entertainment channels, as well as superfast fibre broadband, for £30 a month.
Customers taking up either package can also take Sky Multiroom for just £5 extra month for the first six months of the contract, enabling them to watch different programmes on Sky boxes in other rooms.
Sky Entertainment and Unlimited Broadband is available for £15 a month for the first six months, rising to £29 a month thereafter, with additional Sky line rental of £14.50 payable throughout the duration of the contract.
Sky Entertainment Extra and Fibre Broadband is available for £30 a month for the first six months, rising to £51.50 a month thereafter, with additional Sky line rental of £14.50 again payable for the entire duration of the contract.
