TalkTalk has launched a new broadband offer giving UK households the chance to take advantage of half-price internet and calls.
The broadband provider is offering a 50 per cent discount for 12 months on its entry-level Essentials package, and for six months on the higher-tier Plus TV tariff.
TalkTalk Essentials offers up to 14Mb download speeds, an unlimited monthly usage allowance, inclusive evening and weekend calls and a free wireless broadband router.
Subscribers also receive a free connection, helping to minimise start-up costs when switching to TalkTalk.
For a limited time, the broadband deal is available for just £3.75 per month, down from £7.50 per month.
A line rental fee of £15.40 per month also applies from the start of the contract.
Consumers seeking television services along with their broadband and home phone may opt for TalkTalk Plus TV as opposed to Essentials.
The broadband deal offers up to 14Mb download speeds, an unlimited monthly usage allowance, anytime calls to UK landlines and a free wireless router.
Subscribers also receive a free YouView box, enabling them to pause, rewind and record live TV, and access up to 4,000 shows and films on-demand.
TalkTalk Plus TV is currently priced at £7.75 per month plus line rental, increasing to £15.50 per month plus line rental after six months.
Subscribers also have the option of adding a number of TV boosts to their broadband package, including Sky Sports and Sky Movies.
For instance, the TV Starter boost costs just £5 per month and offers access to seven entertainment channels - Sky 1, Sky 2, Sky Arts 1, Sky Arts 2, Sky Living, Sky Livingit and Sky Sports News.
