TalkTalk has launched a new broadband package offering internet, TV and home phone services for just £7.50 per month plus line rental.

The service provider's Essentials TV bundle offers high-speed broadband with an unlimited monthly usage allowance, inclusive evening and weekend calls to UK landlines, and a free YouView box.

This enables subscribers to watch content from up to 70 Freeview channels, with the ability to pause and rewind live TV for up to 30 minutes.

The YouView box also enables Essentials TV customers to take advantage of seven-day catch-up and on-demand viewing services.

This means they can enjoy content as and when they choose, rather than being tied to the TV schedule.

The YouView box offers access to programming on BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4oD, and Demand 5.

TalkTalk Essentials TV subscribers can also add extra channels on a month-by-month basis, including 65 not currently offered by BT TV.

It is possible to sign up for premium channels, including Sky Sports and Sky Movies, via YouView, with only a one-month minimum commitment required.

On-demand films are also available via TalkTalk Box Office, with the service provider claiming to offer "the latest blockbusters at the touch of a button".

TalkTalk's higher-tier TV, home phone and broadband package Plus TV is currently available at a discount price of £10 per month plus line rental for the first six months.

Ordinarily priced at £15.50 per month plus line rental, the package offers unlimited broadband, anytime calls to UK landlines, and a YouView box with the ability to pause, rewind and record live TV.

In addition, new customers are entitled to a £30 Love2shop voucher, which can be used to make savings at more than 20,000 high street shops, restaurants, bars and attractions across the UK.
