Virgin Media news

Virgin Media TiVo viewers can enjoy a host of content from the 2014 Winter Olympics, which are underway in Sochi, Russia.

Connected TV subscribers can enjoy a total of 650 hours of live sporting action across six dedicated channels.

The BBC is broadcasting live from Sochi, although Freeview users - and those who haven't hooked their TV up to their broadband connection - will have fewer viewing options.

Virgin Media explained that TiVo users - and those with a relatively new smart TV - can enjoy "tons more content" from the Games.

"Just select the 'Choose Sport' option at the bottom right hand corner of the BBC Sport home screen and you'll be taken straight to an exclusive Sochi 2014 page," the service provider noted.

This offers up to six simultaneous live event streams, up to 32 video highlights, up to 32 text headlines and the current medals table.

Viewers can also enjoy Sochi 2014 content through the BBC Sport app, via a smart TV or through the TV/Video Services menu on a PlayStation 3 or 4.
