BT has launched a special broadband offer, giving consumers the chance to get their hands on a £100 Sainsbury's gift card and a £40 Next voucher with internet and calls.

New customers signing up online for BT Unlimited Broadband & Calls can take advantage of the deal, which also includes a 50 per cent discount for the first six months.

The deal offers unlimited up to 16Mb broadband, meaning subscribers can download as much data as they like.

They will receive a free BT Home Hub 4 wireless router - allowing them to access the internet via a range of web-enabled devices - and also a free connection.

Weekend calls to UK landlines come as part of the deal, while free Wi-Fi minutes at BT wireless hotspots are also included.

Other perks include access to BT Sport online and via the BT Sport app, 5GB BT Cloud, BT SmartTalk and BT Parental Controls.

The broadband deal is ordinarily priced at £16 per month plus line rental over the course of an 18-month contract.

However, with subscribers able to take advantage of half-price broadband for the first six months, they pay just £8 per month plus line rental during this period.

BT is running a separate deal for consumers seeking anytime calls with half-price home broadband.

The firm's Unlimited Broadband & Anytime Calls package now comes with a £100 Sainsbury's gift card, allowing savings to be made at the supermarket chain.

With this deal, subscribers receive unlimited up to 16Mb broadband, anytime calls to UK landlines, a free wireless broadband router, free Wi-Fi minutes and a free connection.

Again, they can take advantage of extras such as free BT Sport, cloud storage space, parental controls and home phone features.

BT Unlimited Broadband & Anytime Calls is priced at £15 per month plus line rental for the first six months, rising to £23 per month plus line rental thereafter.
