Virgin Media customers now have additional viewing options over the internet, following an upgrade to the firm's TV Anywhere service.

Another four channels have been made available over the streaming platform, including timeshift options Channel 4+1 and More 4+1.

Showcase channel 4Seven can also now be watched online, along with UMP Movies, which shows Bollywood content.

The latest additions take the number of channels available on Virgin TV Anywhere to 113 - around 40 more than its broadband TV rival Sky Go.

Virgin Media previously added 15 international channels to TV Anywhere at the beginning of October, including Al Jazeera, ARY News, B4U Music, E!, Forces TV, and France 24.

Ginx, Lahme, NDTV 24*7, NHK World HD, The Africa Channel, TV5 and Zing also became available on the web-based platform for the first time.

Virgin Media customers can watch channels over the internet - via connected devices - in line with their TV subscription.
