BT Sport is offering a festive treat to rugby union fans, by making four Aviva Premiership games available on free-to-air TV.

Viewers will be able to watch the games - which will air over the Christmas and New Year period - on BT TV, Sky and the BT Sport website.

They will not need a BT Sport subscription to enjoy the action - although subscriptions are available with three months free between December 19th and February 4th.

The first live game on free-to-air TV will be Sale Sharks v Exeter Chiefs from the AJ Bell Stadium on Friday December 19th (kick-off 7:45pm).

Up next is Harlequins against the reigning champions Northampton Saints at Twickenham on Saturday December 27th (kick-off 4pm).

Then on January 2nd, Newcastle Falcons travel to Franklin’s Gardens to take on Northampton in a Friday evening clash (7:45pm).

The final free game sees Gloucester Rugby welcome Saracens to Kingsholm on Friday January 9th, for another 7:45pm kick-off.

TV viewers can watch the games via the following channels: BT TV 507/508 (SD), 510/511 (HD), Sky and Setanta (413/414).
