man city v newcastle

Sky Sports subscribers have three live Barclays Premier League matches to look forward to this weekend, including a clash between Manchester City and Newcastle United.

Manuel Pellegrini's side have fallen seven points behind Chelsea in the title race and need to put a run of wins together if they are to stand any chance of reeling them in.

City claimed a resounding 4-1 win last time out at Stoke City, but this was after narrowly avoiding defeat to relegation-threatened Hull City.

Mid-table Newcastle can be a threat on their day, and John Carver's side will look to be the latest side to take points off City when they travel to the Etihad.

The Geordies have drawn their last two games 1-1, against Crystal Palace and Stoke City respectively.

Sky Sports viewers can tune in to Man City v Newcastle at 5:30pm on Saturday February 21st.

There are two games back-to-back on Sunday afternoon, with Everton hosting struggling Leicester City in the first live match at 2:05pm.

The home side - who lost to Chelsea 1-0 in their last outing - lie 12th in the table with 27 points, five clear of the relegation zone.

But they are ten points ahead of the Foxes, who currently prop up the Barclays Premier League with just 17 points.

Leicester have lost their last four league games and were also ejected from the FA Cup at Aston Villa last week.

Straight after this Midlands clash, Sky Sports viewers can see Liverpool's trip to St Mary's as they take on Southampton (kick-off 4:15pm).

Brendan Rodgers' improving side are currently seventh in the table, but a win on the road would bring them within one point of fourth-place Southampton.

The Saints will be desperate for three points as they look to stay in the UEFA Champions League race, having won just one of their last three league games.
