Virgin Media news

For the next few days, Virgin Media is giving away a free set of Pure Jongo S3X portable wireless speakers to new customers taking out a triple-play Big Bundle.

Customers signing up for the Big Easy, Big Bang, Big Kahuna or Big Daddy broadband bundles can get their hands on the audio equipment, which ordinarily retails at £129.99.

According to the manufacturer Pure, the Jongo S3X allows users to connect using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, meaning they can listen to music wherever they are in a 360-degree, bass-rich sound.

The speakers offer a 20-hour battery life, so there's no need to worry about having a mains power supply.

"Jongo S3X lets you play music from any device (e.g. smartphone, tablet or laptop), without wires, using any music app or music streaming service," Pure explained.

"All Jongo products work seamlessly together to give you the most flexible multiroom audio system."

The manufacturer said the Jongo S3X speakers are "easy to set up and use", adding that their "stylish looks" complement an "impressive sound".

New Virgin Media broadband bundle customers can get their hands on a free set of Pure Jongo S3X portable wireless speakers if they sign up by Tuesday May 19th.

The entry-level deal option is Virgin Media's Big Easy broadband bundle, which is currently available at a discount rate for 12 months.

For an initial £12.99 per month plus line rental - rising to £22 per month plus line rental after the first year - customers receive up to 50Mb unlimited broadband, a free wireless router, weekend calls to UK landlines and TiVo pay-TV services.

The Big Easy offers access to more than 60 channels, ten of which are in HD, while subscribers receive a 500GB TiVo set-top box.
