Rochdale-based service provider Zen Internet has replaced the top capped usage allowance on its home broadband with a more affordable alternative that includes unlimited use.
The new deal can either be taken on a standalone basis or as part of a phone bundle.
Zen's previous home broadband deal cost £18.37 per month for a 50GB usage allowance or £25.52 for 200GB.
However, customers will now be able to benefit from two new deals, both of which include a short one-month contract term, UK-based support and a Static IP address.
Customers on the new deal can also pay an extra £6.51 on top for Line Rental Plus, which offers Unlimited inclusive anytime minutes to 01, 02, 03, 0845 & 0870 numbers, with International calls from just 3.06p per minute.
Yet the small percentage of customers on one of BT’s older and predominantly rural 20CN (ADSL Max) platforms will not be able to enjoy the new packages and prices.
