The History channel is being offered to TalkTalk TV customers for free for a limited period this month.

Between March 14th and 21st, subscribers can enjoy historical documentaries and dramas at no extra charge.

The History channel is already available in the Entertainment Boost package, which costs £5 a month and includes channels such as Sky 1, Fox and Comedy Central.

It is also available in the Entertainment Extra Boost package, which costs £10 a month and features the likes of Cartoon Network, Nat Geo Wild and Disney Channel.

"The taster week is yet another way TalkTalk customers can get more out of their package," the provider said.

"The offer builds on TalkTalk’s customer led deals including access to E! over the Oscars weekend, free access to Sky Movies for one month and its market leading mobile offers, exclusive to TalkTalk homes."    History is available on channel 327 in the TalkTalk TV Guide.
