Sky Sports has secured the rights to the Ping An Chinese Football Association Super League (CSL).

The three-year deal comes at a time when Sky Sports is already gearing up to show more Premier League games than ever before next season.

Gary Hughes, Head of Football at Sky Sports, commented: "This is more great news for football fans.

"The Ping An Chinese Super League is attracting players from Europe and is creating a really exciting competition that will only add to an incredible line-up of live football on Sky Sports."

Among the familiar names playing in the CSL are former Chelsea midfielder Ramires, who plays for Chinese club Jiangsu Suning, and ex-Newcastle star Obafemi Martins, who is now a forward at Shanghai Greenland Shenhua.

Ex-Arsenal player Gervinho and Graziano Pelle, formerly of Southampton, are also now plying their trade in China.
