Sky Broadband customers in the South Midlands area experienced a service outage yesterday.

Internet and phone services went down at around 3pm yesterday (August 16th), preventing people from getting online and making landline calls.

Sky attributed the problem to a break in a fibre cable and deployed engineers to repair the fault.

The provider apologised for the "continued inconvenience" and managed to resolve the problem early this morning.
