Sky has introduced its new Sky Fibre Max device, which it is billing as its fastest broadband product.

Sky Fibre Max offers unlimited fibre broadband usage and download speeds of up to 76Mbps.

The device is available to new and existing customers with or without Sky TV for £25 a month and comes with Sky Line Rental.

Lyssa McGowan, Director of Communication Products at Sky, commented: "We've introduced Sky Fibre Max to give new and existing customers more choice to access our fastest broadband product at a competitive price.

"The new product represents Sky’s continued commitment to develop our broadband and fibre offering with fantastic customer service.”

Sky believes the device enables customers to download a music album in up to five seconds, as well as download their favourite TV shows in less than a minute.

Meanwhile, popular movies can be downloaded in less than two seconds - "all at the same time, on multiple devices".

Sky Broadband Shield, the provider's online protection tool, is included with Sky Fibre Max at no extra cost in order to help families stay safe on the internet.
