Netflix is coming to Freesat boxes made by Humax. The streaming service is due to arrive on the set-top boxes any day now. Once you've got the update, you'll have to restart your box. Then Netflix should appear in the apps menu.

However, there's no word on when Netflix will come to Freeview Play.

Graham North, Humax's commercial director, said: "Netflix will provide a simple way for viewers to seamlessly switch between their favourite subscription-free programmes, on-demand content and a rich variety of high quality films and documentaries."

Back in September, Humax announced it had signed a deal with Netflix. It said the streaming service would come to its set-top boxes "in the coming months". And now here it is.

The Humax boxes getting Netflix are: HDR-1000S, HDR-1010S, HB-1000S, and HDR-1100S.

It seems it's a good time to be a Freesat viewer. Recently, the UKTV channels Yesterday, Really and Drama came to the service.
