Virgin Media is urging its customers to switch over to eBilling, on the basis that this simple step can save them £21 per year.
Subscribers who receive their monthly bill online do not require a paper version, and this saves the TV, home phone and broadband provider both time and money.
Virgin Media is passing the savings back to its customers, providing they opt out of receiving a paper-based bill.
"You may have already set up eBilling when you first ordered, but if you haven’t, switching is quick and easy," the firm stated.
"Just register or sign into My Virgin Media, your personal online area where you can manage your Virgin Media account 24/7."
All customers need to access an online bill is their account number, area reference number and an email address.
After registering for My Virgin Media, customers can switch to eBilling by clicking on 'My Profile', then scrolling down to 'Switch to eBilling' and following the on-screen instructions.
"Once you’ve registered for eBilling, we’ll send you an email each month notifying you when your bill is ready," Virgin Media noted.
