TalkTalk has unveiled a new phone security feature to help customers identify and stop unwanted calls.
Check and Report enables customers to check who has called them through the Check and Report website and log the details of unwanted callers.
Each reported number will be continually monitored by TalkTalk and posted on the Check and Report database.
In addition, users will be able to see if a number is currently blocked from the TalkTalk network, as well as how many searches for the number have previously been carried out.
Donna Moore, Head of Scam Prevention at TalkTalk, commented: "Protecting our customers is incredibly important to us and we remain committed to reducing the amount of time our customers spend dealing with unwanted calls."
She added that Check and Report will empower customers by giving them a simple way to protect themselves from unwanted calls.
This comes shortly after TalkTalk launched a raft of other features to help people avoid nuisance calls and phone scams.
TalkTalk recently activated Caller Display for all customers, so people can see who is ringing before they pick up the phone, as well as its Last Call Barring service.
Since these improvements come at no extra cost to customers, TalkTalk believes they could save up to £180, as other providers often charge for added value features along these lines.
