TalkTalk has launched a service that allows consumers to watch TV content on broadband-connected mobile devices.

TV2Go - which includes live and catch-up content - can be streamed over two devices at once, offering a range of viewing options.

According to TalkTalk, a wide range of content is available to iOS and Android device users with a Wi-Fi connection.

Consumers who take out TalkTalk's TVBox Boost can use a 'Play all episodes' feature to stream entire series of their favourite shows to their mobile devices.

Olivia Streatfield, Commercial Director for Consumer Products at TalkTalk, said there is "no denying" that the firm's plans for TalkTalk TV are "set to ramp up this year".

She claimed the TV2Go app demonstrates TalkTalk's commitment to continually improve its service and give TalkTalk homes "even more for their money".

“We’ve all been there when you want to watch your favourite show and someone is hogging the TV or you’re waiting for a delayed flight and need to entertain the kids," Ms Streatfield noted.

"Now if you’re ever in those moments you can catch the next episode of the latest series or stream a whole movie with TV2Go."
