Virgin Media is set to roll out a new app to customers that will allow them to track their usage, view their bill and check for outages.
The broadband and television provider says it is in the "final stages" of developing the new app, ISPreview.co.uk reports.
It is due to run a closed beta with no more than 1,000 customers to gather feedback on the app's performance, and customers who are interested in taking part can sign up here.
Virgin seems to be aiming to compete with similar services offered by the likes of Sky, making it easier for customers to access information about their account without relying on their provider's website or telephone support.
The news comes after Virgin announced a range of new product bundles, focusing on television packages.
