TalkTalk is knocking more than a quarter off the price of several broadband and fibre packages over the Christmas period.
From December 21st, Fast Broadband is being reduced from £27 a month to just £19.95 a month.
This two-year contract offers broadband speeds of up to 17Mbps and unlimited usage, as well as free set-up and a Super Router. Subscribers will also have the option of adding flexible landline calls and TV boosts.
According to TalkTalk, the discount means people can save around £369.20 when compared with a similar package from Virgin Media, or £220.95 vs BT and £105.03 vs Sky.
Meanwhile, the provider's Faster Fibre Broadband has been reduced from £33.50 a month to £25 a month.
The 24-month contract offers fibre broadband speeds of up to 38Mbps, which TalkTalk says is up to four times faster than standard broadband, along with unlimited usage, a Super Router and no set-up charges. Customers can also add flexible landline calls and TV boosts if they wish.
TalkTalk believes the discount on this package means people will spend £257.75 less than they would for a similar contract with BT, or £248 when compared with Virgin Media and £113.89 vs Sky.
A fixed price guarantee will apply to both the Fast Broadband and Faster Fibre Broadband deals, which means customers can be sure of no mid-contract price hikes for up to two years.
"Between them, BT, Virgin Media and Sky have put their prices up mid-contract seven times in the last two years," TalkTalk commented.
"As the first and only provider to guarantee no broadband price rises for the entirety of a contract for up to 24 months, there has never been a better time to join TalkTalk."
The provider's new year deals are available to both new and existing customers.
